Kilroy International A/S heads up a group of leading European companies, specialized in adventurous travel experiences, study trips, study abroad experiences and student benefits. Our legacy is built on the notion that travelling is the best way to widen your horizon and break down cultural barriers, and this is still what drives our mission today. About the position

As a System Support Engineer, you are a member of our Service Desk team, and responsible for support and daily IT-operation across the organizations of The Kilroy Group.

Your daily work will consist of helping our users solve their IT related problems, so that they can focus on serving our customers and make their travel dreams come true as fast as possible.

Your task is to deliver an effective, competent and user-friendly service combined with a service-minded approach towards our users. You will together with your colleagues be responsible for receiving and solving user requests and organizing user permissions across multiple platforms. As a part of your position, you will help optimize our technical processes and shape the future of our systems, by contributing with your thoughts and ideas to a better solution. 

The Service Desk team consists of 3 team members who work very closely together and who focus on teamwork, positive values and knowledge sharing. Through a close cooperation with our IT-operation and development team, our team maintains all systems and infrastructure across all our physical locations in 7 European countries. 

Your key responsibilities will be

  • Creating, updating and removing user accounts within The Kilroy Group
  • Supporting our Windows systems landscape
  • Managing and supporting Microsoft 365 applications and infrastructure
  • Supporting our internal sales platform
  • Managing workstations, meeting rooms and ordering hardware
  • Updating and maintaining our Asset management Documenting our systems and processes

About you

We imagine that you have just recently finished your technical degree within IT or have achieved a few years of knowledge within this area through previous work experience.

You are good at communicating with and understanding our users' needs. You are motivated by happy users and strive to achieve this through efficient and skilled support. You are committed to solving our users’ requests and self-motivated you seek out the necessary knowledge for a great solution.

You need to be structured and good at prioritizing your work tasks, always keeping a holistic view and make sure to think two steps ahead. Analytic skills are a plus as they will help you understand the root of the issue and to optimize our systems and business processes to avoid similar issues in the future. 

In a support team it is important to face our users with a smile and an understanding of their situation.
