KILROY has ambitious growth plans and needs a stellar team to deliver on this. As Head of KILROY Marketing, you will set the direction for both growing brand awareness and lead generation. KILROY is present in eight markets, of which UK was entered just a year ago, and as an example of your various focus areas, one task will be to collaborate with the UK team to build presence and foster growth in the UK.

To achieve objectives and expand into existing and new markets, you need a good commercial understanding, a solid marketing toolbox and a curious and innovative mind-set you can rely on to collaborate and inspire the hybrid team to work in the same direction. 

The KILROY marketing team comprises 8 locally based Marketeers alongside Event & Social media coordinators in 6 markets. At the Copenhagen HQ an additional 3 people are dedicated to content creation (copy and video) working across markets. Besides the KILROY specific marketing team, you will collaborate with the creative team (website, visual content, creative campaigns etc.), the MarTech team (tracking, reporting, tool super users) as well as the external agency working on SEO and PPC.


Lead strategic planning, generate demand for products and support the team 
You will: 

  • Lead, develop and motivate an adept and passionate marketing team to grow demand in our respective markets.
  • Set strategy direction with the CMO to balance branding and performance marketing.
  • Work with the team to grow awareness of the KILROY brand and offering in all markets.
  • Ensure individual and team development to support the needs specific to each market.
  • Ensure tight collaboration with local Sales Managers and the KILROY Management team
  • Be responsible for overall utilization of budget with a focus on ROI
  • Be a part of the development and roll out of a new website in collaboration with an in-house team of UX, designers, developers and commercial stakeholders

 

Digitally data driven, internationally experienced, and a motivated team player and manager.
Skills and Experience:

  • Business acumen and an ability to understand customer needs to ensure a customer centric approach.
  • Digitally driven and on top of the upcoming trends that can benefit marketing, both from an activity or operational perspective. 
  • Experienced in balancing the need for marketing performance and investments in brand awareness. 
  • Extensive cross-market experience, navigating both benefits and complexities.
  • Experience in facilitating, inspiring and building a collaborative spirit for team members in a hybrid set-up.
  • Analytical and a data driven approach - capable of translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • In depth hands-on experience in one or more of the key marketing disciplines is a strength (e.g. marketing automation, paid advertising or other) 
  • You possess an advanced academic qualification, such as a Master's or Bachelor's degree

Corporate language is English, so you are fluent in English, written and spoken proficiency in one market language is desirable.

And of course, you are a traveler at heart and have experienced the positive impacts of travelling yourself.
